The Alameda Shelter is our local shelter and they run mostly on donations. Alameda is a place where people from other cities come to dump their dogs, and The Alameda Animal Shelter works hard to find forever homes for not just dogs, but all kinds of animals. They also have volunteers who walk the dogs every day:)
